Multiple Plays, One Team - Bringing Brands to Life at the Super Bowl

It’s no surprise that teamwork is a central theme around just about anything related to the Super Bowl. And when it comes to events, marketing and brand activations at the big game, teamwork isn’t just one element… it’s everything.

GES teamed up with several partners to bring exciting brand experiences to life at this year’s Super Bowl. Here’s a sneak peek:

Future Flight at Super Bowl LIVE

Future Flight is an out-of-this-world virtual reality experience, including a virtual reality (VR) tower-drop ride that takes guests on an excursion through space to Mars. Guests don VR goggles for the 2-minute ride, which concludes with a thrilling 64-foot vertical drop that transports riders back to Earth, landing on the 50-yard-line of Houston’s NRG Stadium.

It takes a team to create the ultimate fan experience. GES partnered with IDEAS, a media and experience design firm, to help bring this project to life. NASA provided reference photography and imagery from Mars to help ensure the accuracy of the depiction, and ARM Inc. assisted in the ride development.

Future Flight will be featured at Super Bowl LIVE, a signature fan festival situated on Discovery Green in downtown Houston. The event – which will attract an estimated 1 million attendees – opens to the public January 28.

Houston LIVE

Houston LIVE is a celebration of all things Houston! It tells the REAL story of Houston as it ignites enthusiasm for the future and inspires action and conversation about what Houston truly is. The story is told through the eyes of 19 forward-thinking sponsors who have joined together to weave a tale of innovation, diversity, technology, artistry and community pride.

Also located within the Super Bowl LIVE fan festival, this 60,000 square-foot experience will feature several different areas that collectively present the Houston story. At the heart of the more than 20 interactive exhibits and attractions are multimedia presentations, live entertainment, local cuisine and social media connectivity. All of this is presented in a uniquely-designed environment showcasing the host city as a dynamic center of culture and innovation.

At GES, teamwork is in our DNA. Our clients’ and partners’ goals and vision are the keys to a winning game plan, and we’re comfortable playing any position on the field. Whether you need a quarterback to run your offense, a strong defensive end to help you tackle the tough jobs or a seasoned coach to show you the path to victory – we’re your partner and teammate.

Are you attending Super Bowl LI? Don’t miss all the fun that happens before the game even starts... hope to see you there!
