London 2012 Olympics Venues Created by GES

We are proud to have been responsible for the temporary fit out of the venues for the London 2012 Olympic Games. As the recent recipient of the ISO20121 accreditation, we wanted to not only meet, but to exceed where possible, the LOCOG sustainability goals. We were able to achieve our goal by donating the materials used at the Olympics to the charity Giving World, which made them available for use in projects in Nigeria. 

The London Olympics Team was very satisfied with the reliability and functionality of all of our work. The teamwork between us and LOCOG was seamless, typified when our work was referred to as “the Rolls Royce standard” by LOCOG directors.

The standard of workmanship and pride in doing a good job was reflected in the phrase “this is the Rolls Royce” when walking through the lounge being used by LOCOG directors and was enjoyed by numerous VIP’s and dignitaries during the competition.
