Coventry, UK, 3 December 2019 - ESSA, the Event Supplier and Services Association, presented global, full service provider for live events, GES, The ESSA Member Company of the Year award at its annual ceremony, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, at Arena MK, Milton Keynes.
The awards form part of the association’s annual Chairman’s Dinner held after the ESSA Conference, which sees over 200 attendees from the world of event suppliers and service providers, come together to effect change for the good of the industry. The ESSA Member Company Award honours a member which has clearly demonstrated an outstanding commitment to ESSA, its members and the industry as a whole.
The GES submission focused on a number of recent triumphs for the company including the launch of its innovative new stand build solution, Show Ready, and its proactive steps to bring in ‘new blood’ by sponsoring the New Designers competition and awarding a talented design graduate a full-time job at GES.
The entry also shared details of its achievement in securing the new international ISO 45001 accreditation for health and safety, a certification GES achieved 18 months ahead of the deadline of March 2021 - making it one of the first in the events industry to do so.
