Making An Impact Through Imagery

Caribe Royale – Orlando, FL

With a theme like “Full Throttle,” it is no surprise that the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Convention organizers were driven to create something memorable during their 2025 show. Eager to generate buzz around revealing a new kitchen model, they asked longtime partner GES to shift their creativity into overdrive.

The Challenge

Moments That Matter

When Tropical Smoothie Cafe (TSC) decided to launch the “Cafe of the Future” at their convention, it was important to do more than just talk about the new kitchen model — they wanted to bring it to life. Franchisee owners and operators needed to visualize the future of their cafes by experiencing the latest equipment and store layouts firsthand.

Client Goal:
Evoke brand loyalty by creating an engaging experience to showcase the TSC “Cafe of the Future.”

The Solution

Designing With Purpose

To ensure the visual elements of the store rendering were accurately reflected, the team turned to GES Art Director Jesse Henderson for guidance. Henderson jumped on calls with TSC designers to discuss everything from overall objectives and goals to specifics like kitchen colors, textures, and equipment placement.

Results:
GES presented Tropical Smoothie Cafe with renderings where fixtures leaped off the walls and gave a true sense of working in these futuristic kitchens.

The Impact

Graphics In Action

Working together, the GES design team and the TSC’s architectural consultant turned a 2D model of the cafe into a walkthrough experience. Using AMP structures covered in fabric panels alongside actual cafe fixtures, they created a striking visual that expertly turned the colors and concept of the café into an interactive attendee experience.
