About the Event
Comic Con is an iconic live event. This special combination of comics, costumes, and a truly out of this world visitor experience has come to Abu Dhabi. The first and largest convention of its kind in the Middle East, the MEFCC has grown into a vibrant curated collection of popular arts and culture.
Now in its tenth year, the 2022 event brought fiction and fantasy to life with a dazzling panel of stars and a long list of activities. GES was approached just 6 weeks before the event opened and contracted as the official provider of ALL services. We're delighted our custom designs and sustainable builds helped bring this fantastic event together.

“Comic Con 2022 was and is a monster of an event. Timelines are short and expectations high. While we were past the peak of the pandemic, the restrictions and uncertainties were still present. Nearly everything was in doubt. What wasn't in doubt however, was our trust that the GES team would deliver. And deliver they did.
With that being said, they didn't just perform admirably on an operational level but also where it's hardest to compete: creatively! We had so much great feedback about the look and feel of the event. Thank you."
