GES Puts the Wind in the Sails of the EWEA Annual Event in Barcelona 2014

March 6, 2017

Since its inception over 30 years ago, EWEA - The European Wind Energy Association - has gone from strength to strength in delivering a dedicated event for the wind energy industry across Europe. Today, EWEA is the premier wind energy event organiser across all of Europe, helping to build connections for businesses on an international scale.

In 2014, the EWEA Annual Event was held at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via in Spain. We provided a dedicated show manager and team who were on hand to help with all aspects of the event. The team consisted of people who had worked on EWEA shows since 2009 and who knew the pain points for both the organiser and exhibitors. The team were able to make the transition between events smoother for everyone by being able to see and replicate historical orders using a detailed order database.

The EWEA Annual Event went off without hitch, and as a result of the hard work of all involved; we have been invited to supply the EWEA OFFSHORE 2015 event in Copenhagen and the EWEA 2015 Annual Event in Paris!

We've been working with GES for several years and the team has shown professionalism and great support before and during and after every event. It is crucial for us, as an organiser, to know we can rely on our suppliers in case of any unforeseen situations, and having GES as a part of the team is really reassuring. It is a pleasure to work with a team who cares about our events as much as we do and does their best to make it a continual success.
