Northwestern Mutual 2018 Annual Meeting

In search of an end-to-end events partner who understood its business, brand and audiences, Northwestern Mutual chose GES to develop and produce events that consistently delivered and improved over time. In 2018 and continuing into 2019, GES has been the Northwestern Mutual agency for its Annual Meeting, regional events and sales recognition programs.


GES kicked off the partnership with an in-depth assessment of the Northwestern Mutual business and brand, including over 25 stakeholder interviews, enabling the GES team to truly understand needs and priorities. This foundation enabled GES to develop event strategies and creative approaches for the Annual Meeting which extended into regional and sales events. GES then produced all major elements of each program – including sessions, content support, AV, expo areas, networking activities and more.

Impact & Outcomes

Continuous assessments and ongoing collaboration enables GES and Northwestern Mutual to evolve ideas and approaches, continuously improving attendee experiences and driving business results. Additionally, this successful partnership resulted in efficiencies gained through streamlined processes and reuse of assets across multiple events.
