For Mike Winker, Head of Design and Marketing at Galaxy Multi Rides, IAAPA Expo is more than another event on the calendar. It is the epicenter of the attractions industry. And when your company builds giant indoor inflatable theme parks and mechanical bulls, showing up strong matters.
Exhibitors arrive on the show floor juggling tight timelines, high expectations, and long days. Mike had experienced move-ins with other vendors where the process felt combative and filled with unnecessary friction. This year was different.
“Working with GES has been an absolute dream,” Mike said. He pointed to the visible floor presence, the friendliness of the team, and the willingness to go above and beyond as reasons the experience stood out.
What made the difference was not just having people available. It was having the right people available at the right moments. During move-in, GES team members checked in proactively, offered support, shared contact information, and made sure exhibitors knew exactly where to go for help.
The GES team also reduced uncertainty by clearly explaining operational decisions, including changes designed to improve dock efficiency and keep move-in moving smoothly. For Mike, that level of clarity and support turned one of the most stressful parts of the show into a far more manageable experience.
“Super friendly, willing to go that extra mile and really help exhibitors have that stress-free experience in getting their booth set up,” he said.
That is the goal: Less friction, more clarity, and a team that shows up before exhibitors have to ask.
