GES raises the bar with rigorous safety accreditation

GES, one of the first event contractors to achieve OHSAS 18001 certification, has been certified for a second straight year. Workplace safety is now a board agenda item across the industry and, as a leading provider, GES is at the sharp end of safety delivery for its teams, clients and partners.

This second certification is testament to the company’s commitment to the highest possible standards and reflects a cultural shift in the industry, as safety moves to a guiding principle that transforms and improves on-site delivery for all stakeholders.

The OHSAS 18001 certification is an independent, internationally applied, pan-industry British Standard for occupational health and safety management.

Jason Stead, managing director UK, GES said, “The safety of our employees, clients and attendees is a top priority for GES and we are extremely proud of our teams who have really stepped up to the challenge – both on-site and at our own offices - to ensure we met the exacting scrutiny of independent auditors. Our customers expect and deserve the highest safety standards and we are delighted to share the news of a successful, second year of certification.”
