ARLINGTON, VA—February 10, 2020—Because even the biggest trade shows are never more than one or two cycles away from the dustbin of history, organizers are increasingly looking for proactive measures to stay relevant. To meet the need, ideation workshops have emerged as an effective way to help large shows evolve and prosper, according to Jennifer Beindorf, Vice President Client Experience, GES. 


“A Guide for Conducting Ideation Workshops: Tips and Tricks on How, When and the Benefits They Offer” is the topic of Beindorf’s Keynote Address at the Large Show Roundtable (LSR), April 16 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. One of only two in 2020, LSR serves executives, directors, and managers at shows with 125,000-plus net square feet of exhibit space. 

Unlike a conventional Keynote Address, Beindorf promises to engage LSR clients in an interactive, dynamic discussion on why, how and when large show organizers should consider conducting an Ideation Workshop to help their show evolve. She’ll cover the steps to planning an Ideation Workshop, who to include, and the key objectives and benefits. “To help illustrate the ideal approach and desired outcomes, I’ll share specific examples and pose interesting questions to discuss as a group,” she added.
