CLIENT: Philip Morris International
EVENT: Conservative Party Conference 2017
AUDIENCE: Members of parliament and government officials
The tobacco industry has seen major change in the past decade. Millions of people around the world are looking for less harmful alternatives to smoking. Philip Morris, best known for creating some of the most popular and iconic tobacco brands in world, is leading the charge towards a ‘smoke-free future’.
At the Conservative Party Conference 2017, Philip Morris wanted to communicate its new company shift and its mission to one day eliminate the harm caused by smoking cigarettes. Philip Morris partnered with us to create a space that caught the eye of government officials and encouraged further discussion.
Wrapped with key messages, the stunning design combined striking, angular structures with anamorphic texts, on slatted walls, to enhance the brand journey. Our design team incorporated a host of creative ideas, interesting textures and detailing. Vertically slatted walls and inset detail lighting, to transition flooring and floor graphics, funky pendant lighting and upcycled meeting tables. All carefully considered and positioned to communicate clearly from a distance, and pull visitors in from the aisle.
“The stand really stood out, it was a great attention grabber for passing delegates. The side panels were a particularly good hook and received a lot of interest and media coverage… The design was very modern and suited the clean, fresh image to fit our narrative.”
