Kaiser Permanente is a part of the Care Connectivity Consortium, an organization of major health providers [including Geisinger, Intermountain Healthcare, Group Health Cooperative and the Mayo Clinic] advancing electronic health information exchange across the country for better patient care. At Health Information Management Systems Society, we designed and built a welcoming environment that was in itself proof of the efficiency of electronic information: Interactive kiosks informed visitors about the CCC, their history, and purpose. The refined show presence set a new standard as traffic improved 45% over the previous year.
