Blitz supports Women's Aid fundraiser

Women’s Aid, the charity working against domestic abuse, is hosting an inspiring fundraising event on Wednesday (6th March) at Skylon in London, and AV and event production company Blitz, is proud to be involved in the event.

The event, supported by Women’s Aid patrons Julie Walters and Mel B will include a fashion show, dinner and dance, with all proceeds going towards the charity.

Blitz, a GES company, will be providing event production for the evening which takes place at the Skylon Restaurant at Royal Festival Hall.

Faye Connelly, fundraising manager at Women’s Aid, said: “We are so incredibly grateful to Blitz for all of their wonderful support: providing the production for the fashion show. This event is a dream come true for us, and without the incredible generosity of companies like Blitz it would not be a reality. Every penny raised will go towards our vital work supporting women and children to escape domestic abuse and rebuild their lives free from fear.”

Graham Pope, group commercial director at Blitz, a GES company, added: “With International Women’s Day approaching this week (8th March) it’s such an important time to show support to charities such as Women’s Aid.  We are extremely proud and honoured to be providing the event production for the evening, which will no doubt be a huge success and raise not only money, but awareness to a truly important cause.”
