Building a Shoppers Paradise, on Paradise Street

March 6, 2017

Liverpool One

British developer Grosvenor approached us to design, manufacture and install four contemporary external kiosks offering food and beverage retail opportunities. The kiosks were located at the centre of Paradise Street – the main shopping area in Liverpool city centre.

The kiosk designs incorporated details already present in the existing buildings. From crosshatch patterning found in the store fronts, to angular detailing and metal work that matched the lamp posts that lined the street. To make the structures withstand the notoriously elemental Liverpudlian weather, exterior grade materials and glazed panels were used.

In the end, we built four stunning kiosks that were delivered on time and on budget. With our help, the Liverpool One project turned Liverpool into the largest open air shopping centre in the country and ranked it in the top 5 most popular destinations in Europe. To put the cherry on the cake; the project won over 60 awards and we were proud be involved.
We are all enormously proud of Liverpool One, and part of that pride comes from having developed not only a commercial success, but one that provides a vibrant, urban environment for the people of Liverpool.
