Their customer base spans more than 40 industry verticals including healthcare, aerospace and retail ensuring that companies become more efficient by building Dell’s hardware, software and services in their own solutions.
A vertical showcase
The team at Dell OEM identified IFSEC as an opportunity to fortify one of their high growth verticals – the security and surveillance sector.
FSEC International is the largest event for the security industry, bringing together the entire security buying chain in one place. It attracts more than 30,000 professionals and plays host to over 650 leading manufacturers, suppliers and distributors.
It was first time Dell OEM Solutions had exhibited at the show and they approached us to make sure that their presence was a success.
Dell OEM Solutions wanted a stand experience that would:
- Showcase the latest products and service developments
- Attract new enquiries and business from the security and surveillance sector
- Develop existing customer business and host meetings
Blathnaid Obrien, senior marketing analyst Dell OEM Solutions (EMEA), explained; “We wanted a stand that was highly visible and one that was in keeping with our brand values.
We were showcasing our capabilities in customisation, manufacturing, supplying and solution finding but we also wanted to show the latest Dell hardware available.
It was really important for us that our stand helped us connect with the IFSEC visitor.”
Function and form
The 45sqm space was in a prominent corner position and it was down to us to transform a blank canvas into a high impact, professional exhibition stand that would engage with the IFSEC visitor.
Interestingly, 92% of IFSEC visitors questioned found new products or suppliers that they hadn’t previously considered using and Dell OEM Solutions were keen that their stand would be able to introduce new audiences to their products and partners effectively.
We created a stand that seamlessly blended open space with three partner pods, as product showcase desk and a meeting room that ticked all the exhibiting objectives of Dell OEM Solutions.
Our team also focused on a structure that allowed a free flow of people around the stand to maximise the engagement opportunity of visitors and ensured that product knowledge and information was quickly available when needed.
Dell OEM Solutions were not disappointed when the doors opened at the show. The architectural theory was put to the test as the busy stand was constantly buzzing with visitors for the three days.
Multiple exhibitor results
At the show, Dell OEM Solutions received valuable new leads for their business, met with important customers and were able to secure respected trade press coverage within the security vertical.
The meeting room provided a quiet sanctuary on the IFSEC floor allowing the Dell OEM Solutions team to further develop existing and new relationships.
