Melville, part of the GES Global Network, works with GES clients who organize events and exhibits overseas. This year, we decided to “Change Perspectives” in our own way. Across the pond at this year’s Confex (a major exhibition industry show in the UK), we changed things up and created the largest stand (exhibit) presence that we’ve ever had at an exhibition. The expectations were high and the pressure was on, but this stand exceeded everyone’s expectations.

The idea behind the concept was that Melville’s brand has gone through its own, “Evolution,” to become the all inclusive provider it is today. Phil Baker, Melville’s creative director, designed this experience to showcase all the creative solutions provided to evolve experiences for event organizers, exhibitors and visitors alike. Melville reinforced that we listen, create and succeed in many partnerships to continue to make our clients happy.

Melville’s Follow Me App was integrated in the experience for the first time, and since the show, it has been downloaded more than 1,300 times. We also displayed ground-breaking exhibitor and show organizer dashboards, the multilingual service center, cloud-based data management solutions, lead capture apps, new lines of furniture, etc.

During the show, the Melville exhibit was awarded the, “Best Stand-Space Only,” for its stylish, monochrome and overall ‘evolution.’ The 'evolution' theme illustrated the growth of Melville over the past few years. The changing lights created an air of interest drawing large crowds with positive comments about the design and layout. It reinforced Melville’s dynamic edge and the openness of the stand assured attendees got to their destination quickly and easily which also helped illustrate Melville’s strong knowledge about effective stand design.
