GES has scooped three awards at the 25th anniversary of the AEO Excellence Awards, making the company the third most awarded winner since the ceremony began in 1995.
The Sustainability Award recognises GES’ ongoing commitment to sustainable business practices.
In addition to the Sustainability Award, GES’ leading registration and engagement technology products, Visit and Poken by GES, won the much coveted Best Use of Technology and Innovation of the Year awards.
Jason Popp, GES EVP International said: “Innovation, technology and sustainability are three of the hottest topics in the industry right now – to win these categories really underlines our position as an industry leader, innovator and partner of choice. I couldn’t be more proud of our GES, Visit and Poken teams.”
Visit and Poken by GES managing director, Jeff Lee, added “Winning the Innovation and Best use of Technology at the AEO awards really validates everything we have been working so hard for over the last few years. This wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our teams to succeed nor without the support of our valued clients to embrace new ideas and new technologies.”
The last year has seen GES develop its suite of smart technology products, which combines SaaS registration software, NFC-enabled smart badges, and lead capture, to offer organisers a comprehensive set of tools that drive visitor engagement and maximise ROI for exhibitors.
The illustrious awards, which took place at Grosvenor House, London, recognise outstanding achievements within the events industry, attracting over 1,000 leading organisers and suppliers.
