GES Brand Experiences Announces Billie Jo Poufcas as Account Director, and Diego Herrera as Director New Business Development

New positions will help further support clients in GES’ rapidly growing Brand Experiences business

LAS VEGAS – November 8, 2021 – GES, a global experiential marketing partner to many of the world’s leading brands, is excited to announce Billie Jo Poufcas as Account Director and Diego Herrera as Director New Business Development.

Billie Jo will lead an account team focused on managing large program healthcare accounts that offer best-in-class experiential marketing solutions to GES’ healthcare client base. With the addition of Billie Jo’s expertise, the GES healthcare team will continue to leverage and grow its unparalleled offerings in healthcare experiential marketing and strategic program management.

Billie Jo brings more than 15 years of leadership, strategy, and healthcare program management experience to GES. Her strong background in medical congress planning and account management brings a proactive and innovative approach to HCP engagement strategy. Most recently, she served as Account Director for 3D Exhibits and Matrex Exhibits where she provided day-to- day strategic management for healthcare program accounts. “Billie Jo is passionate about bringing out the best in her account and client teams,” said Terry Campanaro, SVP of GES.

Diego Herrera joins GES as Director of New Business Development team. . Diego is focused on developing new partnerships and innovative face-to-face marketing strategy. In a short period of time, Diego has developed a reputation for being insightful and creative with any new challenge. His focus is tailored to helping new clients develop strategies that leverage the GES experience. “As a strategic partner, Diego works not only as a fulcrum to give clients the leverage they need, but also as the lever they need to get the job done and make it happen,” said VP Client Relations Michael Haarvei. “We are pleased to have Diego on our team!”

Diego joins GES after spending four years as an Account Executive at a rival exhibit house. His experience leading global programs in a variety of industries has allowed him to keep up to date with trends and tactics that will best serve clients. A partial list of clients he has worked with includes Merck Animal Health, Hills Pet Nutrition, Tecan, HMS Networks, and many more.

Before starting his career, Diego graduated from DePauw University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.
