Meet Ana Wein, an Account Associate at GES, whose passion for the events industry led her to join the Account Associate Program. Drawn by GES’s strong reputation, Ana saw this as an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, client relationships, and event execution.
One of Ana’s favorite aspects of the program was working with various departments—sales, logistics, creative, and operations—giving her a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to produce a successful event. She especially valued the cross-departmental collaboration, as it helped her connect client needs with execution strategies, making her a stronger salesperson.
A standout moment for Ana was visiting the warehouse and working directly with event structures like AMP, GEM, and FIT. This hands-on experience deepened her appreciation for the complexity of event builds and gave her insight into the logistics behind every setup.
Her biggest advice for future Account Associates? Be open to learning and ask questions. Engaging with different teams and networking within the industry can make all the difference in your growth and development.
Now, with a solid foundation in the industry, Ana is eager to take on more sales opportunities and continue honing her skills. She hopes to one day mentor new associates, helping them feel just as equipped and empowered as she does now.
