GES Manages Build at WorldSkills

March 6, 2017

WorldSkills, one of the largest skills and careers events, attracted over 200,000 visitors to ExCeL London in 2011. It was the largest build challenge ever posed to a supplier, and we handled it flawlessly. The final visitor number for WorldSkills London exceeded 200,000, with the Have a Go areas attracting thousands of visitors, including Prime Minister David Cameron, Mayor Boris Johnson and Princess Anne.

Such was the success of WorldSkills London 2011 that a true legacy was born in the form of The Skills Show, which launched across 50,000m2 of the NEC in autumn 2012.
GES contributed a wealth of knowledge and creativity into the event and worked with us to make even the most challenging of problems far easier to overcome. Working with the directors at GES was an absolute pleasure both in the planning stages as well as at the event.
