GES launches guest interview series to support cross-sector learning
Global Experience Specialists (GES) EMEA has launched a new content series that provides the events and exhibitions sector with insights and inspiration from alternative industries. Experts from a range of different markets will talk about how they and their businesses approach areas including content, sponsorship, experience creation, marketing, and successful engagement.
Whilst bringing to life their own business environments the series will take learnings from these vertical sectors that can be adopted within events and exhibitions. First up is Gill Tee, founder of Black Deer Festival, who provides thoughts on what excites her about her industry, why ‘care’ is such an important word, and what she feels the events industry can learn from the world of festivals.
The GES team hope that the blog will help exhibitors and event organisers to take their experiences to the next level by exploring new ideas and new ways to enhance their projects. Annually, GES manages more than 4,000 live experiences across the globe and its team are always seeking new ways to innovate and better support their clients.
“We are fortunate to work in a sector that is always willing to learn, and we wanted to look at the world of events and exhibitions through the eyes of other industries. What could we do differently and what could we do better? We’re excited to hear what ideas and advice our peers beyond events and exhibitions can offer,” said David Lane, Senior Marketing Manager, GES EMEA . “Through the series, we’re targeting some amazing minds from some incredible brands. These people are leaders in their field and we’re looking forward to meeting even more.”
