A Festive Start at Buddy Guy’s
Guests arrived at Buddy Guy’s Legends ready to celebrate, and the energy was immediate. Breakfast treats, morning cocktails, and a sea of green set the stage for a joyful
morning. Kids had a blast in the Leprechaun Lounge with magic, crafts, and surprises, while adults reconnected with industry friends and soaked in the upbeat atmosphere.
A Parade Rooted in Faith, Peace, and Unity
This year’s parade theme, Faith, Peace, and Unity, was felt throughout the entire day. Chicago embraced the message wholeheartedly, inspired by meaningful moments surrounding the broader parade community, including the election of Pope Leo XIV and the Pilgrimage to Rome by Parade Grand Marshal Father Tom McCarthy. The theme reminded us that even in a huge celebration like this one, it is our shared experiences and connection that truly bring people together.
That spirit carried straight onto the parade route as our group joined the excitement with the iconic GES Award Winning Float. Guests waved to cheering crowds, passed out candy, posed for photos, and enjoyed being part of one of Chicago’s favorite traditions. The float once again made an appearance on ABC 7’s broadcast, which added extra buzz for our participants.
Afternoon Celebrations That Kept the Spirit Alive
Once everyone returned to Buddy Guy’s, the celebration continued strong. Guests enjoyed an afternoon packed with live entertainment, including
- The Gleeson Irish Trio Band
- Lavin Cassidy Irish Dancers
- Magic by Randy for the young and young at heart
- The always remarkable Shannon Rovers
The room was full of movement and laughter. Between the music, dancing, and endless green themed photos, it was impossible not to get swept up in the fun.

Supporting Lincoln Park Community Services
A highlight of this year’s gathering was our continued commitment to giving back. Guests brought travel sized toiletries and gift cards to support Lincoln Park Community Services, a Chicago organization that helps adults experiencing homelessness. The generosity from our attendees will make a meaningful impact for the community, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed.
A Celebration of Connection
The 2026 Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade reminded us why this event is so special. Beyond the floats, music, and festivities, it is the togetherness that matters most. The theme of Faith, Peace, and Unity echoed throughout the day as hundreds of thousands of people across the city came together to celebrate tradition, culture, and community.
