Always On Health and Safety, A Letter From Our EVP of North American Exhibitions

The continuing health crisis across the globe has brought many challenges and opportunities. Bringing live events back is crucial to restoring vitality to the overall economy and the industry which we love. To accomplish reopening events safely, it is of paramount importance to identify new ways of creating safe environments to foster necessary face-to-face interactions. Defining and implementing operational well-thought-out practices to promote the health and safety of everyone involved in live events will reinforce trust in our industry’s ability to return safely.

Enabling a safe environment for face-to-face interactions across the globe is GES’ top priority. As a first step, our program GES Always On Health and Safety addresses rigorous protocols and measures for all GES-contracted shows. All GES employees will adhere to the core safety and health guidelines prior to and at show site, read more here.  These guidelines are designed to enable a safe environment and path forward for our employees and our industry. These new standards will guide our teams as they continue to work towards redefining processes.

We are starting to see signs of the initial reopening of economic activity in some countries and states.  While at this point, it is still difficult to gauge when the events industry will fully reopen, we know the way we operate will be different than in the past. Thank you to all of our partners for your continued support as we navigate this new world together. Please stay safe and healthy.

Please stay safe and healthy.

Jeff Quade, EVP of North American Exhibitions
